What a terrible day with 194 points. (Not the worst day this year, though. That came when I missed choosing my drivers.) I can assure you I'll never pick Junior again. I'm not even sure why I picked him Saturday, but C'est la vie! Ryan and Brad didn't help at all. And the only chance I had for some good points, at the end of the race, took himself out of it going to the blocking well one time to many. Oh well, that's restrictor plate racing.

You and me both. I guess we'll never know how he would have finished if he hadn't been in that wreck. I'd like to think he would have done a lot better, because his team had just gotten his car dialed in to the track and he was moving forward with a really fast car that was finally handling well. I think his new crew chief is making a lot of positive changes in Junior, on the track anyway. But he's also gonna need Lady Luck to help out a little, too.

No clue...I didn't watch the race...Beer, BBQ and Bonfire called on Saturday night

I've only used 2 of his starts, so when he does come around, I'll have him available...and I'm sure he'll crap the bed every time I start him

The Biff & JPM are solid picks. I'd go with Sam over Kes (I think he's finally figured out the car and cookie cutters.) Rooty and Vickers are a toss up, but I'd be leaning towards Brian.

Well, 7 of my picks looked great in practice yesterday, placing in the top 21. But I'm sure some of those laps were run with their qualifying setups. Then qualifying put 5 of them in the top 20 for Saturday night, with Vickers leading the way.

But I guess we'll get a lot better idea how they're gonna run during their 2 practice sessions today, with race setups, and what kind of adjustments they make. I just wish they'd run one of those sessions the same time as the race, since track and weather conditions seem to effect those box cars so much. Yea, I know, wish in one hand...

What a difference a day makes and practicing before qualifying vs after qualifying. Yesterday I had 7 drivers in the top 21. Today after the final practice session only 3, Biffle, Vickers and Reutimann. Two of those three look pretty good, but Biffle's starting way in the back. So what to do? I just have to decide who to bench and who to lock in for Saturday night.

Maybe at Martinsville or Bristol would this be a concern...at a 1.5 I wouldn't worry too much about where he starts if he has a good car.
