Re: NASCAR's biggest names on the Chase bubble

Some of us can't help being "NEW" fans though, I'm 27, I have no choice but to be a new fan. That doesn't mean I don't respect where it came from or how it was built by the legends and all that, but alot of peolpe long for the "Golden days of racing," well the "Golden days" have been replaced by another color. The sport is more widespread and popular as ever, people in East bufu-istan are watching now, it won't ever be the same, or be the way everyone wants it to be, it all comes down to the bottom line. But I digress, what I started out writing about is what I'll finish with, please don't confuse "new" fans with "part time" fans, some of us new fans care too.

I agree with you totally

Maybe I should have spelled out what I meant better...I did not mean to offend anyone.

A FAN of racing will continue to watch even if their favorite driver is behind the wall....

A GROUPIE will watch as long as their favorite driver is still running, if something goes wrong and the driver is out of the race (no longer in the spotlight of the groupies mind) then they swiitch the race off. because they are not a RACING FAN

It was just an analogy and not directed towards anyone..just stating that it exists. (and that's Ok with me)

I didn't mean to come off offended, just clarifying the difference. TN, you couldn't offend me.
