01 Wreck at Daytona.
Thought this was a pretty cool pic but a pretty bad wreck.

There's a few from the '97 Daytona 500. Earnhardt rolls the car with about 10 laps to go, gets in the ambulance and sees the wheels are stell on it. He gets out of the ambulance and fires up the car and finishes the rae. Then Rick Hendrick's cars finish 1-2-3 while Rick was fighting leukemia.

I think the hood from the 28 car came off in that wreck and went up into the stands. It actually hit someone but, thankfully, they were not hurt badly.

That Daytona crash when Earnhardt drove his car back to the pits, was courtesy of Jeff Gordon for those that didn't see that race. Gordon got into Dales left rear and dumped him. He got out of his car after wrecking, headed for the ambulance, turned around and saw all four tires were still up, went back to the car, and jumped back in it and fired it up and drove away! One of the many reasons why he is/was THE MAN and there will never be another Dale Earnhardt.
