Latest on Yates Racing

Latest on Yates Racing: Sponsorship issues are again a question for the team [Yates Racing] next season, but both #28-Travis Kvapil and #38-David Gilliland are expected to be back in what will grow to a three-car stable with the addition of #98-Paul Menard. The former DEI pilot brings his family's lucrative home improvement store sponsorship money with him to Yates, which will provide the financial resources the team so desperately needs. Veteran crew chief Larry Carter, who helped Jamie McMurray turn around his 2008 season, moves over from Roush to call the shots for Menard next year. "I'm really looking forward to starting this new chapter of my life with Yates Racing and behind the wheel of the #98 Ford Fusion," said Menard. "The #98 has been to Victory Lane 25 times, many times with Marvin Panch and Lee Roy Yarbrough. It's exciting to be starting with (team co-owner) Max (Jones) and Doug (Yates), and having Larry Carter on the box making the calls. I've seen how solid the Roush/Yates engine program has been over the years and I know we can have a really good season in the #98 Menard Ford Fusion." [the last win for a car #98 was John Andretti at Daytona in July 1997]. Kvapil will also have a new crew chief with the team's decision to release veteran Todd Parrott, although no official announcement of his replacement has yet been made.(CBS Sports)(12-9-200

I'm really worried about David.

Looks like we won't hear ANYTHING UNTIL THE MORNING OF THE DAYTONA 500 RACE. YATES BEING TRUE TO FORM.

JUST HOPING WE DON'T SEE THE WHITE CARS WE SAW IN THE 2008 DAYTONA 500.
Wouldn't you think that Mernard would bring some of his assocates to YATES also.

It would be nice. I would love to see my friend with some good backing this year. I've talked to Butch and he doesnt know whats up. David has always been pretty tight lipped about things until they were made official even to his dad.

This would be something I would expect. See what happed with Todd when someone doesn't know what IS REALLY GOING ON. I don't think YATES really knows at this time either.

I don't see the advanatage of bringing in a driver with a sponsor for new team , if it not going to help keep/improve your two exitisting teams.

menards has to bring putting something up ......right

I think you're overlooking a critical piece of information: the Cat in the Hat is running the show and he's building his "army" to defeat the GM/Dodge/Toyota pagans. by enticing a "complete team" to "defect" and join his ranks, it strengthens his "army" (they bring everything but the equipment and a few foot soldiers.)

Yates Racing (also referred to as "RFR Annex") is alive today because the Cat in the Hat needs them for his world domination plans to work. if he could have housed the Menards (father and son) in his castle he would have, but it's not to be! so he did the only thing he could: put them in his "other" castle where there's room. next year you'll see the #26 team take up residence in the "other" castle also .. or he may build another castle...

Re: Latest on Yates Racing

I give up----been trying to find the spot where i can start a NEW POST soooooo I will ask my question to anyone who know about the FORD CROWN VIC,

Here is my problems CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP-----

Wipers 99 Ford Crown Vic

Have high speed only. lost low and intermittent speeds.

When I turn the wipers off, they stay where they are, they don't return or park.

Do you think its the wiper control module or the wiper motor?

Control module or the switch. If it was the motor it probably wouldnt work. Having high speed only is your biggest clue. Chase the wires my friend.
