Re: Did Gordon intentionally Spin Kenseth?

What would that gain the 48 ( 5 points in the chase) Kennseth is locked in pretty much and it does not seem to matter who is leading going up to the chase.

Nope...making an observation that when it comes to Gordo and #3...you guys seem to have a different set of standard for the same type of aggressive driving...not that I care one way or the other...but it seems a bit of a double standard.

Re: Did Gordon intentionally Spin Kenseth?

Sorry Knight, wasn't reffering to you It was in reference to all the reasons that Gordon had to spin Kennseth.

What really sucks about the whole thing is, as long as guys get away with it, it's going to keep happening. Saying "I'm sorry" seems to be enough for Nascar. Another thing is, Gordon is on PROBATION for shoving the same guy he wrecked today. Just like sending the crew chief of the 48 car home for cheating at Daytona..............it means nothing if you are the right team.

First before I get mad again, USMC, Juggernaut and Welcome to GoTeamsGo! We have a ton of fun here! This is definitely the best Nascar chat site.

Ok. Watching Nascar Vic Lane, both J Burton and Kyle Busch thought the 24 did it on purpose. And, and, I agree with the points lead issue. Gotham, I figured the 3 would come up sometime. But this isn't the 3. This is '06 where it's not looked upon as nice to spin someone out for the win. I just saw the replay and the 24 definitely did it on purpose.

Okay, so if Jr. had done it...same reaction...or a "by golly, isn't he the spitting image of the old man?"...

Speaking of "The Call", what did you guys think of Jeff Burton letting Gordon get around him after the first round of pit stops. Burton clearly beat Gordon out of the pits, but on the return road under a green flag, he let the 24 just motor around him for the lead. I couldn't believe my eyes!

LOL, on the by golly...

Personally it wouldn't make a bit of difference to me who did it. If Richard Petty himself had taken my boy Matt outta the race like that I'd be first in line to toss my beer at him... then get his autograph

Re: Did Gordon intentionally Spin Kenseth?

Well I watched the race ending over and over with friends who are jr. fans and they said the same thing, it looks to us that Kennseth slowed down and Jeff did slow down when Kennseth initialy crossed in front or as said before he, Kennseth would have came across Gordons nose. I do agree Gordon could have checked up a little more then passed him in the straight away.

I love honesty. I would even give you my empty beer can to toss, cause I sure wouldn't waste the liquid on that dipstick Jeffy. Heres a couple cold ones to you.
