Jug you need to look through some of our threads before you say anything like wanting DW back !!!! No argument that Wally D is a dope. This battle with Matt and JG is going to be an ongoing issue now .... m ore so than before. In the post race interview Matt did everything but say that he would return the favor. He said it but you just had to pick it out from between the lines. I think Matt definitely slowed up a bit and there may have been a good reason. Jeff could have hit the brakes but I'm not sure it would have prevented what happened. I'm not defending JG because I don't care for his attitude anyway. For all of those who love the "Chase" I find these incidents to the sad result of trying too hard to get into it. Once again I say the chase is a poor deal for everyone.

I too love agressive racing, as it used to be on dirt tracks. The speeds were much slower, of course it was still dangerous, since the safety gear was not yet available. But now NASCAR has rules that all drivers are suppose to follow. My juices get flowing when I see a driver blatantly break the rules and be permited to get away with no chastisement. And no one could possibly be upset with you

As the Great #3 said if they boo you your doing something right. GOD, Gordon is good. I've only been watching NASCAR for about 8 years but I've seen a lot of people spun out. Nobody seems to care when Gordon gits it. And he has had MORE than his share of spin outs. I think he still owes Stewey a couple. No one is saying anything about Matt the Brat putting Gordon in the grass a few laps before the spin. Was that dirty or just hard driving. If he had not pushed Gordon in the grass the spin out wouldn't have happened. So anyway, I think it is just racing. Let them go at it on the track cause rubbing is racing.

BTW, when Dale dumped Terry Labonte at the Bristol night race several years ago, my heart sunk........and for a brief moment, I was sorry to be an Earnhardt fan. I really felt bad for Terry and his fans that night. But contarary to popular belief, DE didnt knock people out as bad as people say. He just "rattled their cage".

But to answer your question. If Earnhardt had done the same thing, I believe no matter who it is, should be sent to the back of the field.

Are you referring to when Kenseth was blocking the 24? I guess no one has the right to ever block the 24. Even if it's for the win.

it is classless. regardless of how you feel about Jeff. throwing garbage on the race track reinforces the belief so many people that are not NASCAR fans have that it is a red-neck sport.
