Boy I would like to get my hands on the sorry no good thieves that took those engines..... I'd strap to the hood of a racecar and head out on DEGA for some hotlaps without the restrictor plate.

Oh wow... i wonder who would have stolen those engines. Yeah, they probably are pointing the finger at Toyota... Oh well. Its the Roush team fault as well for not locking up up the building... If they did. Whoever stole it weill be in put in the crapper by NASCAR...

The building was locked up. The thieves got in at a spot where the alarm sensers didn't pick up well.

Q, I really should be the one to be taking it out FIRST for the hot laps at 'Dega without the restrictor plates to make sure it's o.k. for your laps!!

I'm curious about the alarm part.

According to the news story, they knocked a hole in the wall and crawled thru, opened a door (at the loading dock I presume) and rolled the engines into a waiting box truck (stolen from Penske).

Now, why wouldn't the alarm sensors not pick up the opening of the door?

I do cleanup after myself.... I keep the empties in the racecar to use as projectiles, oops I mean for ballist, I mean... uh disregard those comments.
