You see I am a real redneck NASCAR fan. On occassion I visit the Red Sox forum and the "Other sports" pages just to see how some of the other people live. 99.9% of my posts are done right here on the NASCAR forum. There is no better place to be. Especially since there is no Hot Air Ballooning page !!!

But LSC, I have to mention that you didn't tell me what you thought about Tony. In the top 10 most of the day. Is he still too hurt to drive. Is he a danger to other drivers.

Well it appears that he didn't cause any accidents at Pocono so I guess he was OK to drive even though I, personally, don't think he should have. I don't think that because I don't like him, which I'm still very much on the fence about, but I think he should have stayed out just because of the possibility of causing an accident. As far as what i think about him ..... I hate to get you gals upset but in respect to his abilities as a driver ... first off I think he is an aggressive driver. This can be both good and bad. From my point of view he is a bit to aggressive (Daytona for example) As for his driving skills ... no doubt he has many great skills. He brings junk cars from the back to the front. Of course the team helps there but he has to feed them the info as to what he needs and wants. Overall he is OK but I dislike his better than thou attitude. These are just my opinions though !!!

LCS You left me confused, I havn't ever found Tony displaying a better than thou attitude. Aggressive yes, but off track all the interviews and Bio's he come's off as a nice person. And he is the first to congratulate a new winner.

Gma, you've got my back! Thanks! I strongly agree with the above statement. LSC, he finished 3rd. When he was hurt!!! He finished ahead of 40 other drivers that weren't hurt! I just don't think I can convert you to a Tony fan, LSC. You're too tough! But I"ll keep trying.

I dont want to sound like a prick but this IS a Jeff Gordon thread, Tony is fine, he was fine during the Dover race. maybe a little sore but Tonys a tough guy and I think he just wanted to give Ricky a chance to ride. But he surely didnt get out of his car in pain like he did at the Coke 600 at the driver change, he was really quick.
