I must say one up and commer that has impressed me is this Brian Clausen who is in CGR driver development program. He has run a limited schedule in Ganassi's #40 NW car. Even though he hasn't won yet for a 19 year old kid with limited experience, he's quite impressive.
Yesterday during qualifying for the NW race @ daytona they mentioned with Ganassi closing down the #40 sprint cup team this might leave Clausen out of a ride because Dario might take that ride full time (claussen won the pole).

Do you think this a good idea? Yes I know the kid is only 19 but hell by todays standards, he's only got 2 more years too get in!
Do you think someone else will pick up Claussen. I personally see a bright future in NASCAR with guys like Claussen/Lagano/Cassell

As much as it pains me.

DEI may be in the market for some new drivers soon. Hopefully Claussen will hold out for a better team though. I think Petty Ent. could use some one like Claussen and I think Petty may see a turn around for their team soon.
