| Re: Check this out I'm thinking that's what the October Talladega car is gonna look like, busy. It's gonna have the names of a bunch of his fans on it, from the "Ride With Dale, Jr" promotion Amp Energy is doing. "Everyone who enters by the July deadline will have their names either on the car or on pit-road banners, car cover or other areas around track property." The cut off is 70,000 names. |

| Re: Check this out wait a minute! if that car is a "camo", then it's very possible nobody at the race will be able to see it without "special equipment" .. what you're seeing is an artist's rendering - the real thing isn't photograph-able! still, whether artist's rendering or not, I don't care for the look at all... my all-time favorite is Bobby Allison's red and gold Coca-Cola Chevy ![]()

| Re: Check this out WOW !!! That car looks like a car you could get from the showroom. Chrome bumpers and sheet metal that looks like a ... a .... a stock car ! This was from a different millennium and century ... right ??? |

| Re: Check this out 10-4 on the #28....but the one w/ the gold wheels.....i'd give it a 9.6....there used to be so many beautiful painted cars when they used paint.....now they use vinyl and 90% look like ugly billboards w/ SMALL PRINT....the only car i can think of off the top of my head that i can recognize going around is the target car........remember the ''tide ride'' or others, you could spot them a mile away.............what's with all these ''speed'' shots...do think a sponsor wants to see his tires go by on nat. tv... |

| Re: Check this out Quote:
vinyl was for seat covers, not decals. back in those days, ya could get your car lettered for a hundred dollars .. about what an Earl Schieb paint job cost. |

| Re: Check this out Yep .. definitely 72-73. What a totally different racing era. A 14 second pit stop was never dreamed of. Full face helmet ???? What is that for. Racing for points ???? Race for the win !!! Earl Schieb was $99.00. What a hawker he was. |
