I initially thought the same thing. But,
I think the problem with the #8 last year was the side brackets which the wings mount to. They were mounted OK but the bracket itself was "unapproved." On the Haas/CNC cars
I think NASCAR is stating there are problems the way the wing assembly is attached to the deck? (I have read the official NASCAR statement; I can read NASCAR and write NASCAR but sometimes I get lost in the literal translation)
Joe Custer was interviewed on SIRIUS this morning. He says the entire team is confused. He
claims (90% of all criminals going in front of a judge claim innocence) the wing mounts haven't changed since the car went through initial tech. The back-up cars have exactly the same type of wing mounts and NA__AR has approved them?
This whole thing is kind of "curious?"
