Dare I say they might not have NASCAR on the networks but rather on cable channels like Speed, TNT or maybe SPIKE (formerly TNN). Why, that might mean many of the $20 million wouldn't be required to pay $20 million to have their names on a car anymore and smaller companies might afford to sponsor a car, which might mean the meg teams would disappear? All this might mean a family of four could actually afford to travel and attend a race now and then without having to take out a second mortgage on their home?
Sorry. I just don't see much of a downside.
