Re: Who can stop him? I agree with you, right now he is unstoppable, but as for the other 2 your point have some validity but I will add also that last year they realized it's not not dominating in the first half that's important, it's just making the chase. JG had such a lead before the chase, but JJ simply made it and dominated in it.

Re: Who can stop him? Jimmie Johnson also managed to beat Gordon by almost 80 points, if you figure in the 2 wins Johnson had over Gordon in the regular season, Johnson still beat him by 60 points over the course of 10 races, and it'll be hard for anyone to match the consistientcy(sp?) that Gordon showed over the Chase last year, even Kyle Busch.

Re: Who can stop him? I'm not even convinced that those bonus points are worth anything since once they get into the chase it is only those points that separate them. A win by the 12th place driver and a 43rd place finish by the top driver can change the standings, dramatically, in one race

| Re: Who can stop him? this car caters to on the edge drivers, for example, you can get bumped and still save the car unlike the old car. you can also smack it around a bit unlike the last car. Kyle Busch likes to dirt track every corner and if the wall needs a make over, hes ready to give it one.

Re: Who can stop him? I would agree with that. When you are winning and getting as much media attention as he is then you have to have some sort of mental edge. I'm sure he gets all wound up when he thinks that HMS booted him and their new driver still doesn't have a win. Gotta make him just puff right up.

OTOH, every driver (and CC) knows the fastest setup is "loose", but most drivers are not capable of controlling it on every track (super speedways, for example), which is why a slightly "tight" setup is preferred at some tracks. Loose is also a very stressful condition for the driver, requiring intense concentration, 'cause one slip and it could be all over for the day. Shrub seems able to make it work for him, but he knows he's on a razor edge between super fast and crashing. As he matures he'll start backing it down a little. In the meantime, enjoy the show!

Re: Who can stop him? That is Kyle Busch's nature. He's a very aggressive driver and has been lucky this season. "Ole Dale" was the same way when he started racing: stepping on people toes and tearing up his equipment.
