I hate it. I think it's about fitting in the pre race crap. After all during football season the first games still come on at 1 east coast time meaning 10 west coast time. I think it would be better to see them start no later than 1 and have post race shows.

I'm okay with 10 am races... just no earlier. I like to sleep in on Sundays.

everybody think real hard for the answer............................................ ....................................... give up? I'ts to hinder people from taping the race and then watching later in the day, with their finger on the fast forward button...that way they did not have to watch the tree falling on the car every 7 min...

im closer toward the east coast and the race dont start till 4:00 which really sucks so now i have to find something to waste time till 3:30 when the pre-race comes on.

Well todays race should have started at 10am for me ........which is OK but later in the season after you guys go daylight savings and we go back and then you guys have a race on the east coast I am getting up at 6am to watch the race.....so no earlier please

clutch, do they have vcr's down under....i found the to be the best invention for watching a race since the binocular..

Probably not a F1 fan there 8AM in the east, 5AM in the west

I had no problem with a 4PM EST because it was 1PM PST local.

It's more like Daytona that started after 3PM local and finished in the dark. I guess FOX pulls a big weight, and I am pretty sure if they could have starter in prime time they would do it.
