Blame LSC for this one!

Does anyone know what ever happened to the charges of reckless driving against Michael Waltrip? I've searched and searched, but all I could find was that the hearing was postponed back in May. Everything else was related to his "cheating" at the beginning of the 2007 NASCAR season.

Did he ever go to trial? Did he plead out? Were the charges dropped? What happened?

By all means ... blame me for it. I only care about poor Mikey's welfare. I just wanna make sure that our tilted judicial system doesn't put him in the slammer for the remainder of his driving career .... OH !!! WAIT ..... that's already over isn't it ???

Seems his case was heard in June and may have been thrown out with little said to the media. Michael Waltrip's Court Case Pushed Back A Month Can't have bad Nascar PR now can we.

I dug a little deeper into this and it seems his case will be heard Dec.10 and he may have picked up a speeding ticket also from a diff. cop. Calendars /Officer Court Apperance Query

One more post and I will leave Mikey alone,lol.I wonder what effect the speeding ticket heard yesterday will have on the wreckless driving charge set for the 10'th.After all Mickey stated he had a perfect driving record.When it rain's,it pour's.

Look's like Mikey will put himself in the headlines at Daytona again this year.With the 500 run on 02/17/08 he postpones his court date's until 02/13/08 and 02/19/08.I guess that is one way to stay in the new's,lol. Calendars /Officer Court Apperance Query
