ok obviously Gordon sucks

i've hated him ever since he cheated to get his 1st championship

all he had to do was not finish dead last, and they didnt even trust him to not do that

they had to enter another car and have it go out after the 1st lap so he wouldnt find a way to screw it up

Is Gordon considered the one with the best raw racing talent? – No that goes to T. Stewart.

Can Gordon do a back flip?– Maybe.

Is he considered the greatest driver of all time not to win a championship AND the second coming of JC? – No, that honor goes to Jr.

Does he have the most knowledge of the ‘GAME’? - No, Mark Martin has that one.

Does Gordon rank in the top ten of anything except for points? – Probably not.

But just like Washington, Franklin, Edison, Regan and other Greats before him, Gordon has the PASSION, WILL & DESIRE to get rings. He’s kind of a loaner out there. If you want to follow him, then it is your good fortune, if not it really doesn’t matter. If you disrespect him, he’ll have nothing to do with you. – Just ask Brook.

Gordon is no way near perfect. If he were close, he would be very bored with racing and go on to conquer something else.

I'm no Gordon fan. But ever since his split from Miss Winston he seems to be more, oh, I don't know, likeable. Don't get me wrong, I still can't stand him but there are other drivers that are worse. I won't ever cheer for him and when he has a bad day, that makes my day that much better. How 'bout when he bumped (hm, can't remember who he bumped) someone out of the way to win this year at a short track. Now that sucked.

Seems to me that this thread is on the edge of good taste. I too have complained about drivers but to start a thread called "The Official Jeff Gordon Sucks Thread" seems a bit much for me and I don't even care that much for Gordon.

No doubt someone could go through my postings and find something a little to the left also. I really just hate to see these forums go the way so many others do. Bashing a guys ex-wife without knowledge (total knowledge) of what happened seems over the edge, but then again I will sleep OK tonight and when I die I suppose they will still plant me 6 feet deep. I guess it don't matter one way or the other. I just want Mark Martin to win a championship before he leaves. He gets my all around vote.

The fine line that I'm gonna try to draw is that members need to seperate attacks on their favorite driver/team/athlete from attacks on members. I think all the crying about Jeff needs to stop, he's not dominating anymore like he did in the 90's so stop, lets complain about Biffle or Johnson who are winning so much and are true cocky media darlings. If you want to talk about unnessessary publicity i'll point the finger at June-bug, I can understand Stewart, Busch and even Labonte who are actually past champions, but Jr. what has Bumhoward done to get SO much, win at Chicagoland??? Jeff is very much to himself now ah days and you rarely hear about him unless he shoves drivers after races, just stop the bashing, he's leaving the sport in a couple of years anyways.
