Hi Guys, this has been a crazy thread. Sometimes funny, sometimes a little heated but I'm happy to say that you've all seened to keep the right GoTeamsGo community spirit. That spirit is to be able to have passionate discussion while remaining civil with all the members here.

Slam the Driver, Not other Members

It's a hard thing to do sometimes with the great/horrible drivers, teams & personalities that make us love NASCAR. Thanks for being able to seperate the messenger from the message in this thread. And thanks for realizing that when somebody attacks your driver, they are not attacking you.

Closing this Thread

I'm going to close this thread after almost 300 posts and over 4000 views. Not closing it because it got out of hand. More because we've been hitting too many different topics and it's hard to keep up with them in one big thread like this.

More Gordon Threads

Here's what I'd like you to do as you continue your thoughts on Gordon (or any other driver/team...).

If there's an existing thread where your comments will fit correctly, add a reply there. If your post is a new topic, start a new thread that has a descriptive title. New threads with descriptive titles help the rest of us find discussions that interest us. Threads with descriptive titles also help us get new members because search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN...) will rank our pages better when people are searching for related topics. More visitors will find us via search engines and we'll get more members to signup and join the community.

For example:

Want to show off a funny Jeff Gordon picture? Start a new thread with the title "Funny Jeff Gordon Pictures"
Want to complain about DW giving Gordon too much credit? Start a new thread with the title: "Waltrip Sucking up to Gordon" or whatever
Want to predict that the 24 will hit the wall in this weekends race? Don't start a new thread, we've already got 1 thread for general discussion of this wk's race and anotehr for predictions. Put it in there.

If Gordon Still Sucks....

Last thing. If you still feel the urge to let everyone know how much Jeff sucks, that's fine. Start a new thread that deals with some aspect of his suckiness or maybe a top 5/10 list of why he sucks. Give us a fresh title like "5 Reasons Why Gordo is a Failure" or "Jeff Gordon Fights Like a Sissy" or something else that will describe your thread and define the topic.

Do me a favor & read the forum rules one more time. It'll only take a minute.

Have fun slamming and bashing. Short track here so it's fine to trade a little paint as long as you don't wipe any body out and you shake hands after the checkered flag
