Ricky Rudd confirmed Tuesday that he would return to the Robert Yates Racing No. 88 Ford for this weekend's Bank of America 500 at Lowe's Motor Speedway. Rudd has been sideline for five races after suffering a separated shoulder in a crash at California Speedway. He said last Friday he hoped to return for the Charlotte race. "I'm really excited to get back into the car this weekend," Rudd said. "We had our best race of the year at Charlotte [in May] and came away with a seventh-place finish. We just had a really strong car and ran in the top-10 all day long.
