| Ghost of the 3 Hey have you seen the car Jr will drive this weekend. It's a black Bud car in the paint scheme of SR. Eeery and cool at the same time. It's not the 3 but with the 8 it's about as close as you get short of adding Goodwrench. That ought to make him pretty racey. Adition: All 3 DEI cars wil run that paint scheme but with their usual sponsors! |

| Earnhardt replica car Hey I saw this and I thought that all the NASCAR fans on this forum would appreciate this. I never met a NASCAR fan that didn't like Dale Earnhardt. Lets just hope that his son stays cool headed unlike his father. Here is the link...ENJOY http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/C/CAR_NASCAR_EARNHARDT_BLACK_CAR?SITE=AP&SECTION=HOM E&TEMPLATE=DEFAULT&CTIME=2006-04-25-21-03-36 |

if Terry Labonte had new/fresh tires and Dale Earnhardt hard older tires, how did Dale get tp him off the turn,Labonte had already passed several cars including Dale. how did Dale get to him ???? simple Labonte slipped! he was at fault as much as Dale was. in my #3 blinder sited vision

Dale could wheel a race car like no other. Remember the "pass in the grass" at Charlotte for The Winston in 1987? Elliot had a better car, but Earnhardts superior driving skills won out. Yea, a lot of people didn't like him, but NOBODY could handle a stock car like him. He was at his best when they still had bias ply tires. The man was amazing. |

| Re: Ghost of the 3 but NOBODY could handle a stock car like him. He was at his best when they still had bias ply tires. I miss those bias ply's. Cars sliding sideways around the track, never knew if you'd get a good or bad set...made it more fun I thought. In fact forget this COT thing and all the rest. Bring those back and you'd have competition again...guaranteed! Incidentally when those went away so did Rusty Wallace. He was great on those. I disagree wth your statement about SR. though. I think Tim Richmond would have been his nemesis like Pearson was Petty. Tim could wheel anything!! |
