| Clauson set for NASCAR debut at 18 Bryan Clauson, 18, a development driver for Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates, earned his first win in the Automobile Racing Club of America series Aug. 31 at St. Louis. He will make his NASCAR debut this weekend, driving Ganassi's No. 41 Dodge in Friday's Emerson Radio 250 Busch Series race at Richmond (Va.) International Raceway (8 p.m., ESPN2). Clauson, from Noblesville, Ind., has been racing since he was 5. He was the youngest driver to win a Sprint Car National feature (2006); the youngest Midget National feature winner (2005); and he was USAC National Midget Rookie of the Year last season. -- Charlotte Observer Charlotte Observer | 09/06/2007 | ARCA driver set to make NASCAR debut Friday |

| Re: Clauson set for NASCAR debut at 18 Agreed. Generally 18 is pretty young but then again on occasion someone good comes along. Kyle would be a good example except for his attitude. Of course it's possible that part of his attitude probelm stems from getting in the big league when he was so young (and still is) |

| Re: Clauson set for NASCAR debut at 18 I have had the pleasure of watching this kid run sprint cars since he was 14 and the one thing about him through all his successes his wins his comparison's to Stewart / Gordon he has remained the polite young man I met at 14. He has won and dominated in every venue he has competed / Youngest USAC winner / Winner at Winchester at 16 / And has 4 top 5 in 5 ARCA starts including a win. Through it all again he is the same as when we frist met him at Lwarenceburg in 2004. |
