NASCAR issues five different Rule Books, each of which includes in its title reference to a particular NASCAR-sanctioned series. There is a NASCAR Rule Book for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series, a NASCAR Rule Book for the NASCAR Busch Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, NASCAR Regional Touring Series and NASCAR Weekly Racing Series. Each NASCAR Rule Book is published exclusively for NASCAR members. Jayski's® Silly Season Site - NASCAR Frequently Asked Questions(FAQ) | I guess these series fall under the NASCAR Regional Touring Series or NASCAR Weekly Racing Series flags: - The NASCAR Grand National Division consists of two series, on opposite coasts but operating under identical rules – the Busch East Series and the West Series NASCARLOCALRACING.COM;
- The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is one of the two open-wheeled divisions of NASCAR NASCARLOCALRACING.COM;
- The NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour is a close cousin to the northeastern-based NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour with nearly identical to those used on the Whelen Modified Tour NASCARLOCALRACING.COM;
- The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series is NASCAR’s national championship program for short-track racing NASCARLOCALRACING.COM;
- On September 12, 2006, NASCAR, in partnership with Canadian Tire and TSN, announced the exciting launch of a newly formed Canadian auto racing series, the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series NASCARLOCALRACING.COM;
- The formation of the NASCAR Mexico Series has fueled a transition from this historically open wheel market to stock car racing NASCARLOCALRACING.COM.
not sure which rule book each falls under, except the Whelen All-American Series is sure to be under the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series rules since most local tracks race weekly programs and the Grand National Division is a pair of regional touring series based on opposite sides of the country. But after that, your guess is as good as mine .. not everything in NASCAR is logical
