yes i realize she is the current woman in a man's sport ...... but how about we get over it already

she has never proven she is any good at racing

yes i know many of you may tell me how well she did last year at the Indy 500 ........ guess what, rookie Marco Andretti did even better

i just cant understand all this fawning over her .............. enough already

What?...Anna (bless her photogenic heart) does not compete against the best men in the world and finish in the top 10...Danica does...If Danica was playing an all women field like the rest of her athletic peers do you not think she would have plenty of W's...come on...apples and oranges guys...apples and oranges...

She is one of the best...and she traded up in racing machines...the Letterman car was not what she was going to win in...I think she is with Andretti racing etc...

And you guys brought up the comparision with Anna K...all I said was that ain't even close...

Besides that, the kid is under the magnifying glass, handles the pressure well, competes well and is young...what do you guys want?...her to whip up on guys that have been doing far longer in far better machines?...get real...she is no Anna K...but Anna K was a modern day Laura Baugh (look it up...hot pin up in the 70's on the golf tour...never did better than 2nd)...

Danica has become a product of the media.

About the only feeling I have about Danica is that her winning tomorrow is about the only thing which might make tomorrow's Indy 500 a relevant automobile race. If she doesn't win, in six months you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who isn't involved with Indy racing to recall immediately who won tomorrow's race.

Dude...its no the same...I don't think Danica or a lot of the female athletes are part of a feminist movement...they just to play...or race or whatever...and if they do it well, against an all male field like Danica...what's the beef?...gotta seperate the two...haven't seen her burn a bra or carry a sign or anything else...the girl wants to race...wants to do it against a competitive field...asks for no favors...and does it well...
