| Paul Dana NASCAR suffered another tragedy today when Dana crashed. | Re: Paul Dana Unfortunately for NASACAR this is another positive reason for restrictor plates. I hate them, but for the most part we do not experience accidents of this magnitude. NASCAR does need to find a way to keep the speed down but break up the pack for more safety. |

| Re: Paul Dana Sorry man but that wasn't a speed problem, that was driver error. He didn't heed the warnings over the radio or lights on he track and slow down. Scary scene. Very sad. Truly amazing that Carpenter wasn't more serously injured or killed also. Probably one of the worst looking accidents I've seen. The one though that will never stop amzing me is Michael Waltrip's wreck in Busch car years ago. He hit the wall right where a metal gate opens, the car forced the gate back hitting the end of the wall head on. The car just exploded. Michael actually just stood up and stepped over the remains of the car beneth him and WALKED AWAY. No climbing through anything beacause there was nothing left. That was simply God saying not yet Mikey I have more for you to do. |
