| Praises for Petty Yeah, baby! Finally, Team Petty has some results! Kyle Petty's 8th place finish and Labonte's early dominance of the GC 500 was awsome to see. It's nice to see that Robbie Loomis (and Labonte) have brought some championship knowledge to a team which was in desperate need. It won't be long until we see the 43 in Victory Lane! Kyle said in an interview that there was 3 types of cars in every race. Those 3-4 cars which have a shot at winning, a second group who are competitive, and a third group who don't stand a chance (professional lappers). He said that he now feels that the Petty cars are operating consistantly in the 2nd group. I'd say Labonte was in the 1st group, until his engine blew (of course maybe that's why he was up front: squeezing too much outta the engine)

| Re: Praises for Petty Totally cool, Jamminj and Team Yates. Wouldn't it be great if the 43 car won a race this year? I think that might be Kyle's 2nd top ten this year. Not to get off the subject, but how bout DJ in the top ten too? Yeah! And Robby G, he got more TV time than last year combined. Robby's one of my fav's. |

| Re: Praises for Petty I agree. I really like Kyle Petty and all he does off the track and perserverence on the track. I saw an interview with him in which he said that he should do better this year because he isn't as involved with the behind the scenes stuff at Petty Enterprises anymore now that Robbie Loomis is there. He has more time to focus on racing. That has to be a good thing.

| Re: Praises for Petty Most everyone would like to see Petty Enterprises in Victory Lane. As much as we all feel for Kyle and want the Petty Organization to win they have to get better in the talent department. For too many years now they have been a less that top rated team. Something is missing and until they fix that problem nothing will change. Labonte was a great addition but he cannot do it alone. Equipment is vital. Money helps also and until they win some races the current sponsors will not provide enough for the personael and equipment needed. I'm cheering for them though. |

| Re: Praises for Petty Don't forget Todd Parrott! He's also a proven winner with Dale Jarrett. I think they have the talent, but maybe it is the money that is lacking over there. Whatever it is, let's hope it gets fixed and they can get a win or two this season. |
