What is with Jimmy Spencer ??? In my view he was never a good driver and his comments on Speed are about as good as his driving ability. Maybe it is just my perception but he always seems to be stirring the angry pot when he opens his mouth. I know there are stories to be reported by the media but when those reporting them start adding personal comments it no longer can be seen as reporting, it then becomes he said/she said stuff. After week one NASCAR appeared to be taking on the WWF image with all the negative yakking by its participants. Do they really need more negative press from someone like Spencer, who in my mind was never a better than average driver. He didn't get the name "Mr. Excitement" because he drove calmly and sensibly around the track. If he were anywhere near as good as he would tell it he would be sitting behind the wheel of a car .... not a microphone. |
