But it's a philosophical mandate if you want to race for Toyota.

So how does it work? Take engines as an example. All Toyota engines are built at TRD. The finished product is given to the teams.
Not sure how I missed this a while ago, but I reckon their philosophy is going to help all teams get competitive in a hurry......fundementally different from what we've seen in the past

Heck of a way to go at it. It took them 3 years to win a title in the truck series. Little quicker then what was expected. We see how they did it. Maybe the Blue-Oval boys should share info with each other while the Bowtie cats share with each other.

They have been discussing the Toyotas on SIRIUS's NASCAR channel all week. One thing which was brought out is Toyota's concept of "team cooperation." They pointed out that Toyota makes it MANDATORY that all toyota teams share technical information gained in testing. For example, brian Vickers' car was loaded with computer anyalization equipment and every time he came off the track, the printout were given to his team, BDR, and MWR representatives for thier disemination. It was said that failure to adequately share info could result in Toyota pulling full support? WOW! IF this is really true...???

Why can't I get this picture of a purple dinosaur running through the pits singing,
"I love you, you love me."
We're just one big family."

out of my mind?

Agggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!

Seems like the downside to all this buddy buddy sharing would be that what the fan doesn't want most will happen even faster. We don't want an IROC type of racing series but with that way of thinking it will happen even faster. Not sure I'd want any info that Waltrip could pass on to me.

So it's more about the car succeeding than the drivers succeeding, eh? Not sure that will sit well with the people behind the wheel.

Yet another way to compare NA$CAR to F1? Isn't that what F1 is all about, wonderous "touch-me-and-I-break" technology?

Maybe Mikey will be the first one to fall by the wayside.

Just an informal question as I mention Mikey. Who will be the first Toyota to NOT qualify ???
