Hey all my first visit here so howdy. My Question has to do with the 20 / 17 conflict at Daytona. Am I missing something or when did it become allright to intentionally attempt to inflict harm to another person? In my humble opinion I can see why the Nascar Officials blew the penalty phase of this conflict because this is way out of thier hands. This is a criminal action no matter where or when it happened. Do this on the freeway and see what happens......just where are these actions justified? Are Nascar drivers above the law? Do we not have enough evidence to see the obvious and admitted attempt to harm another human being? Go directly to the end of the longest line...do not pass go...do not collect your 200 buckies...turn in your Nascar get outta jail free card?

Welcome to the forum, Cardiox. Yep, apparently Steward likes to speak out of both sides of his mouth, as my pappy used to say...he hates it when someone does it to him, but it's OK to do it to someone else. And this on the fifth anniversary of the great Dale Earnhardt's death. It's disgusting.

NASCAR played favorite's again Stewart should have been penalized at least 25 points for that hit on Matt, After all he said Matt started it and I finished it. I din't see Matt come even close to him. Boo nascar. and on Johnson ne should have been told to go home before the race and come to California with a car that would pass inspection. Third time your out!!!.

Its amazing how few drivers spark the kind of emotion out of NASCAR fans that Tony Stewart does. Even now, a week later, we're still here debating whether or not he should have been penalized for this incident. By the way, I agree with you. If you strip the Hall of Fame team points, you've got to strip Stewart points as well. That's my opinion, anyway.
