Here is an interesting quote Carl Edwards is said to have said today:
Edwards' issues with Kevin Harvick apparently go much deeper.

"I have absolutely no respect for Kevin Harvick," he said before Friday's first practice at Bristol Motor Speedway. "I think he's a bad person. That's my opinion. I've told him. We've had our deal before and his actions through that interaction were so devious and underhanded and cowardly that, it's like, I just have no respect for him."


I guess this goes back a couple of years, and what Harvick had to say after NA__AR slapped Carl's wrist with that fear-inspiring three-race probation.

Or, more possibly, the media is just looking to create a story?

They have been talking about this all day on Sirius radio. I guess Harvick was mouthing off in a couple interviews earlier this week about Carl being fake and disliking him. I am glad Harvick is standing up to Carl when no one else will. To me Harvick is right. Carl tries his "aw shucks" approach with the media, yet thinks nobody should get in his way. I hope Harvick rubs some fenders with him this weekend. He will have two races to do it in.

This all got started earlier this week when somebody asked Kevin about Carl. Kevin said "Not a big fan. I think he's fake. You can't be the nice guy, you can't be the bad guy, and you can't be the bully, all at the same time." But I'm sure past history has a lot to do with it too.

Carl is just a the biggest hypocrite in the world. He acts like Mr good guy during interviews but then is a major d*** when they aren't. Say what you will about Kevin or Tony for example but at least they aren't fake.

Anyone else think it sounds like Carl has been on a roid rage for a while? They all say he's so fit, well maybe he used some supplements to get him there. Over the last few years he's just had lots of anger problems.

I'm starting to think Delana Harvick is not someone you want to mess with. After Carl said: " "I don't go talk behind their back like little girls, that's what a lot of them do", Delana shot back: "no he just leaves notes in planes!" Pretty funny.

I think what happened was a week or two before the garage incident between Edwards and Harvick.Edwards left a note on Harvick's airplane about his displeasure of Harvick instead of telling him in person.

Back in 2008, Edwards caused a huge wreck at the end of the Talladega race that took out Harvick. After the race, Harvick called Edwards a "pansy." Instead of confronting Kevin face to face, Edwards left a note in Kevin's plane that read, "Kevin, Thanks for (expletive) me on TV - I was really trying to screw up everyone's day. Love, Carl." That led to the now famous fight between Kevin and Carl in the garage a week or two later, when Carl came over to Kevin's area, and confronted him...

I'm not a fan of Harvick personality wise. Carl always impressed me as the type of guy who liked to play both sides. In public he wanted to be the clean cut good guy but if you turned your back on him for 2 seconds he stabbed you in the back.

Probably why a lot of racers refer to him as Eddie Hasckel. Seems pretty fitting.
