Hey, everyone... the FOX TV station in Birmingham got a chance Thursday to ride along with Dale Jr. as he test drove a Monte Carlo on the new asphalt at Talladega... video of it is on their website here:

The first races on the new asphalt could mean an even MORE spectacular 'big one' than before. 135+ MPH in a Monte sounds like a great time.

This is gonna be fun. The trucks were running 3-4-5 wide! The new pavement may return the great racing of Talladega! Hopefully Gordon can win and cruise on to his 6th championship *cough cough* 5th championship!

It's gonna be tough flipping back and forth from the VIkings game to Talladega and back and forth.
