But, being a big NA__AR fan, you must have watched the CTS race Saturday. Now THAT was a real stock car race. Other than a Cup raider winning it in a pseudo-Cup team truck, I can't find a single negative thing to say about that race. It was AAA+++ from the drop of the green to the checkers. It just proves that the problem isn't all in the track, but in the Cup vehicles and the Cup micromanagement of the Series itself. Since you're a true NA__AR fan I'd be interested in your assessment of that race.

Re: Most boring race in history the truck race was an excellent one minus the winner. My point is it annoys me when people say oh its awful i flipped to football and then are the ones most in depth criticizing if you didn't watch what can be criticized

Re: Most boring race in history I watched the race yesterday. I don't think it's the worse I've ever seen, or the best one either. There was alot of single file running, but I've seen that on other races. But I also saw some racing too.

Re: Most boring race in history I watched all of the race too. It began with Mike Helton laying the smackdown on the drivers, which they actually showed on TV. As for the race itself, yes there were occasional periods of 2,3 and 4 wide racing. But nothing that got my heart rate up or made the palms of my hands sweat like Talladega races have in the past. In between those periods was boring, single file follow the leader. That started at lap 23. And yes, I've seen that before too, but not like yesterday. There were two spectacular wrecks at the end, followed by the winner coasting across the finish line under caution. So overall, I felt the whole thing was an embarrassment to the sport, because a few laps of racing and two "wow" type wrecks do not make for a good race. But hey, that's just the way I saw it yesterday and feel about it today.

Re: Most boring race in history I actually found this race quite exciting. Sure their was some single file racing...but we saw the 2,3 and 4 wide racing that we like to see. Other then finishing under yellow...I thought it was a great race!

Re: Most boring race in history I had to go back and rethink about some of what i said. If you want to see boring races go back to the 1985 daytona 500 and spring 1985 talladega race where bill elliott completely dominated . I think that was more boring than last sundays race although it was pretty boring seeing them run single file.
