The USF Bulls have to be pretty confident coming into this weekend's game against the North Carolina Tar Heels. South Florida is 2-0. They've already upset the Auburn Tigers this year, and they have one of the better defenses in the Big East, allowing just 274.5 yards and 18.0 points per game against some stiff competition. USF is 42-8 at home in their last 50 games, so they should be able to over come Butch Davis and UNC, right?

Yeah, I agree, Empire. The records and the recent performances are impressive, but you never want to overlook a team. UNC has some real talent, especially that Yates kid. And when you're playing the dark horse role like USF has been, you're always afraid that the next one's going to be the one that gets you. It's all the more dangerous now because this is a team people think they should beat - they don't come in as massive underdogs.

South Florida is for real. They weren't caught looking ahead to WVU. They went out and took care of business against the Tar Heels. South Florida rushed for 194 yards and actually built up a 14-0 lead in the first quarter. They never trailed and they picked off UNC's wunderkind quarterback Yates four times. Inspired performance. Can't wait till next week's game!
