According to GoUSFBulls.com, "Sports Illustrated is the latest national media outlet with high expectations for the University of South Florida football team this fall... SI has the Bulls ranked at No. 25 in their season preview and has joined a growing group picking the Bulls as a sleeper in the Big East." What do you think of that ranking? Is this a team that deserves a spot in the preseason Top 25?

They are definately not a team to overlook. Some of the TCU fans here in Texas say So. Florida gave them some tough games.

Louisville had good teams in building to where they are today, but in prior years they weren't 2-deep in the roster of starting talent as they are today.
I don't know how deep So. Fla. goes so that is a key.

It took Louisville a long time to build but Fla. is a football state and So. Fla can probably build in a hurry.

Good point, but while Florida is indeed a football state, but there's a lot of in and out of state competition for those players. How many of the top home-grown talent have the Bulls been able to land in recent years. I mean, are they getting any four or five-star guys at USF?
