Missing practice, as crazy as it seems, is the hardest part for Jasper Brinkley. He goes by periodically, sees his USC football teammates going on with their season, and whether they are or not, it seems to Brinkley they are having loads of fun.

Brinkley made his first public comments Tuesday since sustaining a season-ending knee injury more than two weeks ago. The senior confirmed he will pass up the NFL and seek a medical redshirt to return next season, and he also talked about his rehab and future plans.
