| Receivers, o-line on USC’s to-do list Steve Spurrier’s sound-off on South Carolina’s administration notwithstanding, it has been a quiet camp for the Gamecocks. That is not necessarily a bad thing. It means USC has avoided the injury bug that has bitten a few other SEC schools (see Marcus Monk at Arkansas) and steered clear of a quarterback controversy (save for starter Blake Mitchell’s two-day suspension for his hiatus from summer school). Although USC lost several signees to academic issues and saw a few other players transfer, nearly all of the key contributors are healthy and in camp.
