Beamer Joins Carolina Football

University of South Carolina head football coach Steve Spurrier has added Shane Beamer to his coaching staff, he announced today. Beamer will handle the outside linebacker responsibilities and serve as co-coordinator of special teams.

We already have Spurrier Jr. on staff, so I would think he is the heir apparent.

Spurrier Sr. will be around for at least 6 more years.
