Spurrier academics policy

Heard about the changes Steve Spurrier was making to the South Carolina football team academics policy, and I have to admit, I love it. He's going to start enforcing class attendance policies for all students, not just those with poor grades. I think there was more to it than that but I forget. Anyway, anytime a coach wants to stress academics, he's A-OK in my book. So expect a part of me to really be rooting for Spurrier and the Gamecocks to have a good season this year.

Re: Spurrier academics policy

Well this is solid news. I never liked Spurrier prior to his stint with the Gamecocks but I've been pulling for them...a nice underdog team.
