Officials of the 48th annual AutoZone Liberty Bowl Football Classic today announced that contrary to some reports, several thousand good seats on the South Carolina side of the stadium remain for this year's game. The University of South Carolina will play the University of Houston on Friday, December 29 at 3:30 pm (central time) in Memphis.

"To date, we understand that the University of South Carolina has sold 12,500 tickets," said Steve Ehrhart, executive director of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl. "We have approximately 5,000 excellent seats still available on the South Carolina side. We want the Gamecock fans to know that they still have a great opportunity to get good seats to see their team play in Memphis on December 29th."

According to the official Gamecocks website, fans can order those seats by calling the University of South Carolina Ticket Office at 1-800-4SC-FANS (1-800-472-3267) or the AutoZone Liberty Bowl Office at 901-795-7700. Seats are also available at selected Ticketmaster outlets.
