Cool Best All-Time Sonic

So who is it?

Lenny Wilkens, Jack Sikma, Spencer Haywood, Dennis Johnson, Gus Johnson, Ray Allen?

Wilkens had his best years on the Hawks - so I'm going to say Jack Sikma - the epitome of a power forward who could play with his back to the hoop.

Everybody else?

Then you missed their late 70's early 80's when they were a good team...Kemp is okay...good talent...Olympic Team one year...but I am not sure he rates...

Slick Watts anyone?...loved to watch him play.

You may be thinking of him in the later part of his career. His early days he was a monster. He played like a HOF player. Not sure what happened to him, but he got out of shape with an attitude.

He had talent, no doubt...but I can't put him over Sikma who was steady and got them a title.

Good one. Ah - I forgot about him. When I think of him, I automatically think of his backcourt mate Slick Watts. He went with the shaved head look long before it was fashionable.

Look above... I mentioned Watts as well...led the league in both steals and assists...I was a Slick Watts fan.

Re: Best All-Time Sonic

just a thought, how come gary paytons not in this argument? he was selected to the all NBA first team twice in 98' and 00', all NBA second team 95',96',97',99' and 02'. He was also on the all NBA defensive team 9 years in a row form 94'-02', and won defensive player of the year in 96'. And i cant leave out the fact that he led the supersonics to the NBA finals in 96' also... my vote goes to GP
