Here's a look at today's (07/27/06) transactions involving the Seahawks:

SEATTLE SEAHAWKS-- Signed G Rob Sims and WR Ben Obomanu.
I seem to remember Sims and Obomanu being pretty decent players. Am I remembering correctly or not?

The Ohio State Rob Sims?

Career Notes:
... smart, athletic and versatile ... has been the regular at left tackle the past two years, but could move inside to a guard spot in 2005 (a move that would effectively utilize his quickness and agility) ... definitely will be in the lineup somewhere and will be a standout wherever he plays ... has appeared in 35 games and started 28 times during his career and is the Buckeyes' most experienced player on either side of the ball ... probably played his best football during the second half of last season, helping the Buckeyes put up big numbers late in the year, including 205 yards rushing against Michigan and 214 yards on the ground against Oklahoma State ... has great feet and in exceptional pass blocker ... played a vital role in the Buckeyes' national championship run in 2002, playing in 11 games and starting five times including the title game as a true freshman ... has played 300 or more minutes each of the past two years.
