Not long term, but Weaver will stay

Seattle Seahawks fullback Leonard Weaver will sign a one-year, $1.417 million tender offer today, agent Harold C. Lewis said. After no other team showed a desire to give the Seahawks a second-round pick to sign Weaver, a restricted free agent, the fourth-year player from Carson-Newman decided to sign the team’s tender offer, which was given at the beginning of free agency.
