| Seattle Hawks sign Lowe Looking to add depth to their defense and special teams, the Seattle Seahawks reached a one-year, $605,000 deal with Falcons defensive back Omare Lowe. Lowe, who is expected to sign the agreement Monday, gets a chance to return to his home state to play the 2008 season. He grew up in Maple Valley, Wash., and played for the University of Washington. This will be the sixth NFL team for Lowe, who turns 30 on April 20. A sixth-round choice of the Dolphins in 2002, Lowe has played for the Jets, Vikings and Patriots before joining the Falcons the past three seasons. In Atlanta, he found a home. In 2005, Lowe led the Falcons in special teams tackles, but spent all of last season in injured reserve. With the Seahawks, he'll have a chance to be a backup at cornerback or safety and could be a valuable member of the special teams. -- John Clayton, ESPN.com
