| Re: Trufant Deal Dang i was wondering if someone would beat me to the punch. Pro Bowl cornerback Marcus Trufant and the Seahawks have agreed to a $50.2 million, six-year contract that runs through 2013. Agent Doug Hendrickson said the deal for 11th overall draft choice out of Washington State in 2003 includes $20 million in guarantees. A $3 million roster bonus due in 2010 effectively means Trufant is due $28 million over the first three years of the contract, making him one of the highest-paid cornerbacks in the league. Adding to his good fortune, the Tacoma native is getting married on Saturday.

| Re: Trufant Deal Seahawker, I wasn't talking about his zone I was talking about his man-to-man on speedy guys like Bernard Berrian. He either gets killed deep, or holds the guy and gets a penalty. I think it's too much for a guy who, to me, looks pretty shaky.

| Re: Trufant Deal no matter who they sign the seahawks will have a hard time repeating as champs of their division, i don't see their offense producing enough points to win more than maybe eight ball games. |

| Re: Trufant Deal absolutely insane. only 8 ball games? wow! not showing alot of respect to a team thats won their division 4 years in a row. and only one other team has made it to the playoffs more consecutive years then the seahawks with 5 appearances in a row. oh and since you havent paid any attention to the offseason this year i'll just inform you of some pick-ups they made. mike wahle, julios jones, and tj duckett. these three all help to improve that seahawks running game(their only weak point last year) and offense that you think cant score enough points to win more then 8 games. come on vlad, only 8 wins. their not the vikings |

| Re: Trufant Deal It is simply my opinion, i believe the niners along with possibly the rams, don't laugh, are much improved and will give the seahawks a run for their money. Oh and Mr. "Duck" you poke fun at the Vikings but i do believe they handed the superbowl champion New York Giants their biggest whoopin' of the year. |

| Re: Trufant Deal ok the 9ers are a legitimate threat with the signings they've had this off-season. But the rams. dude come on. they have absolutely no offensive line which makes all of their skill players insignificant and i dont even want to start analyzing their defense or i might have an aneurysm. i say they improve from last year, maybe even double their win total to a mere 6 games. and yes the vikings did put a whoopin' on the giants last year. didnt they play them in the playoffs too? oh yeah thats right, the vikings didnt make the playoffs. they choked at home to the redskins who the seahawks later defeated in the playoffs. just a little sophisticated response |

| Re: Trufant Deal Okay I think the Seahawks, you very well fall off from the top of the West. The Niners have made some good moves now if Martz figures out that Frank Gore, is the key and they run the offense threw him, as well as find a QB they could be good. The Cardinals are a building a team the fight way, they've got a solid Defensive, they're a run first team, and oh ya havin Larry Fitzgerald and Antwan Boldin didn't hurt anyone. You can never couldn't out the Rams with their skill players. The defense might be awful, but they can score points and that counts for something. Beware Seahawks you could be in trouble. |
