This is such great news. I have been waiting for them to sign a new RB for 2 years now. And its a pretty good pickup to, Duckett has the same style as Fred Taylor.

Hmm... Duckett's been injury prone, though. I mean, he's another body, and he has potential to be good, but I think I would've gone with a younger, more durable back rather than this guy. He's not really much different than Alexander, really.

He's not only injury prone but he's bounced around a lot which usually tells you something. 5 years? Wow.

Yeah, not worth five years...three maybe...but five?...he will be gone in three is my bet.

Hes better than no one is what im trying to get across. Hes really good at the 3rd and 1 type drives. And if any of you know, the hawks had the worst record for converting on 3rd and short, duckett is really good at getting those. So he is an upgrade in my mind.

Personally, I feel this is a great deal for the seahawks. The biggest problem for us last year was short yardage situations. A big back like duckett only helps. With the signings of wahle and duckett our offense gets a sense of toughness around it. If we pick up julius jones as well i see a one-two punch with duckett and jones. Thus, leading to alexander playing for someone else next year.

Im guessing your a hawks fan as well? welcome and may you spread the 12th man cheer with me. YEah we pretty much had the same view for duckett. Ill say it, we sucked at converting on 3rd and short, i hope TJ will help us with that.
