| Six Seahawks to have surgery The Seattle Seahawks announced today that six players have undergone surgeries since the end of the season. They're starting running back Shaun Alexander (left wrist), defensive end Baraka Atkins (left wrist), tight end Will Herring (arthroscopic, right knee), running back Josh Scobey (left lower leg), offensive lineman Floyd Womack (right biceps) and offensive tackle Ray Willis (arthroscopic, left knee). The Seahawks say starting center Chris Spencer will undergo shoulder surgery and reconstructive thumb surgery tomorrow. In addition, it says shoulder surgeries will be performed next week on starting defensive end Patrick Kerney and starting offensive left tackle Walter Jones next week.
