Seattle Seahawks kicker Josh Brown feels thats its just too cold to kick in Green Bay, so that's why he will wear heated warm-up pants at Saturday's playoff game. Brown told radio station KIPO that he has equipped his pants with battery-powered heaters for the calves, thighs and hamstrings. Now, no matter what the freezing temperature drops to in Green Bay, Brown's legs will be operating in 24C weather. Brown says kickers, who spend most of the game on the sideline, have to work to stay loose in cold weather by walking around, practicing kicks or using heaters.

I find stuff like this fascinating. He was born in Oklahoma so its not like he isnt used to the cold. Just smart about it I guess.

All the kickers keep saying they are athletes and no one believes them, and things like this just ad to the theory.

Quarterbacks have to keep their hands warm.
Brett had five layers of clothes on that day at Chicago. My guess is players do a lot of stuff we dont know about in order to cope with the weather.
That kicker needs to keep his legs warm and loose or he cant kick.
