Cool Redskins at Seahawks

In the first round of the NFC Wild Card, the Washington Redskins travel across country to the take on the Seattle Seahawks, Saturday afternoon.

As impressive as the Skins have been the last month, I think they come up short here. Seattle 31- Redskins 7.

What does everybody else think?

I like the Skins here, they stop the pass and the Seahawks have gotten one dimensional with their passing game. Redskins 24-13

I do not see the Redskins giving up 31 points. I also see the redskins scoring around 21-30 points and it will be up to the Redskins defense to win the game and I feel pretty good about that. Go Skins!

Re: Redskins at Seahawks

Well, the Skins didn't give up 31 points. They gave up 35 in a 21-point loss. Ouch.

For Seattle, D.J. Hackett had six catches for 101 yards and a touchdown, and both Marcus Trufant and Jordan Babineaux scored on INTs.

Re: Redskins at Seahawks

Yeah they gave up 35 but 14 of those came as they were trying to come back on INT returns. At 14-13 they began to choke, and things spiraled out of control in a hurry from there.

Re: Redskins at Seahawks

I don't think you can count int returns as running up the score. BTW, reference the VA Tech game as a way to end the game with class! Just downing the ball on the one yard line with over a minute to go.

That was sportsmanship.

And yes, it can and should exist in the pros.

Cool Re: Redskins at Seahawks

I give the Skins credit. They were ahead in the 4th quarter, but The Seahawks were the better team.
