Cool Shaun Alexander

What is with this guy? He's only averaging 3.4 yds a carry and 2 TD's. Looks like he's lost a step.

Re: Sean Alexander

Tell me about it, he's killing one of my fantasy teams. One belief is the loss of Mack has really hurt him. Another belief is...Alexander's just lost it. I hope not.

Re: Sean Alexander

He's pretty much been dinged up for the last couple of seasons, has he not? Even now he's playing with a cast. I figure that's got to have something to do with it.

Re: Sean Alexander

How about the fact that he got his big payday and now he's mailing it in every week?

Well, I don't know the guy, but he seems to be of the character not to do something like that.

Cool Re: Sean Alexander

Most running backs have "X" amount of years in their legs. Hopefully that isn't the case here.

Well, here we go again - word is that injuries will sideline Alexander again this weekend.

No, no coincidence at all. He's old and beat up. Time for Seattle to start looking towards the future.

Re: Sean Alexander

Yup, I see them drafting a runningback next year in the early rounds.

Smile Re: Shaun Alexander

The fact that he has a broken left hand and must wear a cast for every game does not help, but that is not the problem. The problem is the Seahawks offensive line. They lost Hutchinson, their Pro Bowl left guard, to Minnesota before the opening of last years season and their running game has smelled ever since. They have second year players at left guard and center.
I think a lot of people think that the running backs are the big stars of the running game. Without an offensive line that can control the defense, no running back will shine.

Welcome aboard bbear999, and thanks for the analysis. The Seahawks lost has been the Vikings gain, as Peterson has run wild this year.
