It's official!!! Shaun Alexander will be on the cover of Madden 07.



Nice to see the league MVP getting the recognition he deserves. Endorsement deals like this will help him and the Seahawks get some recognition nationally and maybe start getting some respect from every sports writer outside of the Northwest.

Of course there is the curse to deal with but who cares about a stupid curse? Shaun will put up over 1,500 yards and 25 TDs again this year as he helps lead the Seahawks to the NFC Championship again and earn them a trip to Miami.

Ben wanted too mcuh money...Alexander was willing to take less...never said OWen's could sing...just said he was my choice for a cover and his rap should open the game...not much for those Eagles that's all...

Hmm...I wonder if the infamous Madden Cover Curse had any play on Alexander's foot injury.

Probably not, but he's just another name on the long list of guys who've been on the cover only to have a poor year or have been injured. Names that come to mind include Ray Lewis, Daunte Culpepper, Eddie George, Barry Sanders, Michael Vick, Marshall Faulk and Donovan McNabb.
