Largely due to the inclusion of a posion pill that would've guaranteed the WRs money had he played in Minnesota, the Vikings have decided not to match Seattle's offer sheet to Nate Burleson. He's now officially a Seahawk. But is he really worth 7-years and $49 million after last season?

I think reality went out the windows decades ago as far as salaries are concern...Burleson is now a 7 million dollar man?...amazing...and didn't Seattle lose that big Michigan Offense of Lineman (Whose name escapes me -Hutchinson???) for not matching an equal amount of money?...Nate over the star Tackle?...hmmm...I don't see it.

It isn't really a 7 year, 49 million dollar deal. It is 4 years for $14.5 million. The other 3 years are voidable and there is no way he will earn a cent of that money. Those years were tacked on as a jab to the Vikings because of what they did with Hutch. If the Vikings would have matched they would have had to guarantee the entire contract due to a couple poision pills the Seahawks stuck in the contract to draw attention to how ludicrous these types of clauses are.
