Football players getting tossed in the clink is simply as much a part of the game as injuries, salary caps and team revenue. These peabrained hulks of humanity just can't stay on the right side of the law no matter what. I don't think teams should really take it into account anymore than if Stevens had an injury. You just can't keep NFL players out of jail, nothing can do it. Hell! You can't even make that moron Roethisberger wear a helmet when he's doing his Easy Rider impression!! Football players have a shoesize IQ and these are just symptoms of that fact.
